The Role:
You will manage client s Windows Servers via remote access.
Perform system administration for Wintel environment of the following vendors: IBM, HP, DELL
Working on trouble tickets escalated from Tier 1 Service Desk.
Performing daily Windows administration tasks such as AD, DNS, File Services, Backup/Restore, etc.
Performing routine server maintenance tasks such as day to day functions of server environment backups, secure and maintain AD security and permissions - File servers, printers etc.
Troubleshooting Windows Server issues, eg. server crashed or hung, users unable to access the server, windows services etc.
Create, maintain and install images for servers. Create and delete new user accounts and assign group membership. Configuring, maintaining, monitoring and tune server performance.
Ability to build servers with RAID technology in a networked environment, configure and support servers in an Active Directory environment. Knowledge of Network monitoring (SNMP)
Assist Windows Team Leader on Projects.

Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
At least 3 years working experience in large Novell environment spanning multiple countries with several thousand users.
Excellent system administration skills in the Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/active directory platforms.
Experience in Storage Area Networks and Enterprise Backup Solutions.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Clustering methodology and design.
MCSE preferred but not mandatory.
