Senior Technical Analyst Global Network Operations (bank)

Duties

Provide system administration for network management systems.
Trouble shoot, install software patches and upgrades, administrate device coverage
Interact with Unix, Wintel and Mainframe system administration in the support of the platforms.

Pre-requisites

Diploma or basis degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.
Minimum 5 years working experience in large-scale network operations environment
Strong network management technical knowledge of SNMP, RMON and MIB OIDS.
Knowledge and experience supporting EMC/SMARTS is essential.
Knowledge and experience of the following systems network management systems is desirable.
- TFTP servers
- Alterpoint Device Authority
- InfoVista Vista Foundation
- Niksun NetVCR
- Fluke Netflow Tracker
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken. The ability to work and communicate with all level of management and staff both within the business and other Technology groups, locally and cross-boarders
Independent and meticulous; good analytical, problem solving and organizational skills are important to perform this role
Ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
