Regional Network Engineer (WAN/LAN , design/implementation)

Experience in the design and implementation of large-scale data networks and a thorough understanding of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP network routing
protocol are essential. Success attributes include initiative, theability to perform under pressure, strong leadership, interpersonal and
communication skills as well as analytical problem-solving abilities.
Candidates should be familiar with the full suite of Cisco products and must have extensive experience in working with TCP/IP, IPX and other
protocols at a minimum.

1) Must possess excellent written and communication skills in English.Proficient in a second language would be a plus.
2) Self-motivated and can work autonomously.
3) High degree of technical expertise in TCP/IP networking.
4) Must possess experience in OSPF/BGP/EIGRP routing protocols
5) LAN technologies. SPT, L2 switching and redundancy designs,EtherChanneling, Trunking, NAT, etc...
6) Network Security - Firewalls (Checkpoint a plus), IDS, IPSec,Internet Security, Encryption, AAA, RADIUS/TACACS, SNMP, ACL.

a)      Will be a member of the Asia Pacific Regional Network Integration team.
b)      His/her responsibility will be to perform network designs and implementation for major projects in ASPAC.
c)      Will also be required to be an effective communicator with key external vendors, e.g. carriers, network equipment suppliers, etc...
d)      Individual should possess in-depth technical knowledge of networking fundamentals to provide network expertise in support of projects.
