Network / Security Engineer

Perform related technical support functions on problem resolution in support of a major account by conformance to service delivery standards. Make recommendations upon evaluation of unique circumstances.

Work on problems /projects of moderately complex scope.

Providing operational and technical expertise for assigned project (Network / Security) including installation and implementation.

Aim to resolve specific network support or operational issues or part of a project deliverables at client site, as assigned.

Providing technical support for troubleshooting and fault rectification for all cases reported by Client Providing onsite support for FW software patch, FW version upgrade, activation of new firewall features, including the conversion of firewall rules.

Document the implementation and migration document for assigned projects.

Work with internal departments in designing and configuring solutions

REQUIREMENTS 

Typically a Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent experience

Minimum of 2-5 years related technical experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of IT Security, LAN and WAN, (like CheckPoint FW, PIX, Cisco Router and Switches) preferably in SI or FSI client environment CCNP certification will be advantageous (minimum CCNA)

Strong client orientation skills in a client-centric environment Excellent team player by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts

Good communication skills in English and another local language
