A network engineer in providing LAN/WAN connectivity’s solution to internal and external customer; ensuring on going system availabilities and optimizing systems performance with tied securities. The job scope covers users support on LAN/WAN infrastructure setup, server management, securities controls, disaster & recoveries procedures, remote access, installations and configurations.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities

1.Primary responsibilities to upkeep the Infrastructures and Communication network, security controls, backups and recovery. Optimizing server’s performance and efficiencies.

2.Server administration includes Windows 2003, Citrix Server MPS4.0 and Exchange 2003. Other administration and supports includes PC, printers, network equipments and thin client. Provide 24 x 7 supports on all critical IT and operation matters.

3.Technical competency on server management and thin client environment skills are highly essential.

4.Implementation and coordination of projects based on corporate requirement. Liaison/compliant with Regional IT on project rollout, technical specification, communication devices and operating systems upgrade.

5.Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time.


Requirements & Skills

Educational background & work experience
Diploma or higher education in computer studies or equivalent experiences.
Minimum 2 years of hand-on window server administration experiences on Window 2003 Servers and MS Exchange Mail are essential.

Functional requirements
Citrix Server MPS4.0 administration experiences are of high advantage.
Support roles on PC, printers, switches, LAN/WAN remote access, backup management and recovery tasks are required.
