Regional Infrastructure Specialist (Active Directory, Exchange)

Part of the IS&T Regional Infrastructure support team, the role holder will undertake day to day management of regional core systems and provide 2^nd level support for IS&T staff around the APAC region. This position holder will be required to participate in a 24X7 on call rota with some evening and weekend work will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Day to Day Management of Industry Standard Systems in a heterogeneous environment.
Implementation of new Servers/Storage technologies and platforms.
Responsible for the maintenance and support of Microsoft AD/Wsus, Citrix farms, Radia, Trend and Tivoli

Authoring of technical documentation including installation and support procedures.
Delivery of Briefing and training sessions to IS&T staff on newly deployed products.
Ensuring Compliance to policies, standards & best practices on Technology, Process and Security for IS&T Infrastructure.

Proven ability to design solutions and manage projects without supervision.

Good inter personal skills with strong ability to diffuse tense customer situations
A sense of urgency to complete tasks and assignments
Accustomed to working in a variety of team structures
Effective communication skills, both oral and written

Technical Skills

Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering Diploma with 7 years or Degree with 5 years working experience on IT Technical Support and Implementation roles.
Minimum of 2 years experience of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Citrix environment
Citrix Certifications: CCA (Citrix Certified Administrator), MSAM (MetaFrame Secure Access Manager), CSG (Citrix Secure Gateway), and CCEA (Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator)
MCSE Certification
Working experience in building and managing Radia servers
Knowledge of ITIL, managing SQL server and networking would be an advantage
