MIS Support Engineer (Media company)

Main Role:

- Assist IT Team to provide local 1st level Support and regional 2nd Level Support - from user support to servers backup, databases connectivity, and networks.
- Primary function is to support helpdesk (PCs and Macs)

Responsibilties

- Responsible for Systems Installations, Helpdesk Planning/Management and Workstations Hardening/Security.
- Participate in the Planning, Design, implementation of MS Server/Desktop and MAC solutions, infrastructure and related hardware in PC/MAC environment.
- Responsible for all Network/Hardware requirement, Resource Planning and Technical support Management in the both in the PC and MAC environment.
- Maintain Users Applications belonging to active directory applications, printing, files servers, terminal servers and application servers.
- Continually improve operational processes, engineering standards and other technological processes.
- Responsible for Expendable procurement requests.
- Develop policies and procedures for full scope of Helpdesk/Maintenance related tasks.

Requirements

Preferably a diploma/degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
independent and possess good initiative, strong Interpersonal and good communications skills
At least 2 year in a IT support environment, with good experience in designing, planning and
implementing PC and MAC in the LAN/WAN environment
Must be completely fluent in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Windows and Mac OS, all versions.Applicant must be thoroughly experienced and well versed in the use of the Windows and MAC applications/technologies. Knowledge of Apple's OSX Server admin tools would be an advantage.
Basic Network / Routing knowledge
MS Server and Desktop, HW/SW and Application related troubleshooting skills
MAC OS and MAC Related Applications and troubleshoointg skills
Design/Implement and Workstation comprising of PC LAN setups
Design/Implement and Helpdesk Maintenance and Management
