Snr Oracle DBA

Provide management and operation support for Oracle databases.

Job Responsibility
Manage operation databases, monitor and make changes to improve database performance; review applications and recommend modifications to improve data access performance; design and code utilities to support the database administration function and maintenance of backup operations.
Provide Oracle database administration support.
Provide some level of Unix/Linux/Windows system administration support.
Organize and deploy hardware resources for optimal project use.
Monitor & analyze overall system performance.
Keep all server and database hardware inventory up to date.
Responsible for database planning, implementation, and performance tuning.

Experience
Min 2 years of relevant working experiences with Oracle 8i and 9i as a Database Administrator .
Min 2 years of relevant working experiences with Unix/Linux system.
Direct experience with Ms SQL and Oracle environments, database maintenance, cloning and support.

Qualification
Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Systems or equivalent.
Able to work independently and able to carry out assigned task on a tight schedule.
Oracle Certified Professional will be an added advantage.
Experience with a scripting language such as PERL, any UNIX shell or similar will be an added advantage.

Salary Range
S$4500 - $5000
