Systems Engineer (Integrated Operations Centre Monitoring)

Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks (e.g. Server OS patching, Folder Access Review)
Monitor a wide variety of infrastructure and network systems in a 24 x 7 environment that include, but are not limited to telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, storage, backup, operating systems and core applications
Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams
Work with next level technical teams to create and update knowledge base articles

REQUIREMENTS

At least two (2) years of verifiable experience in Network Operating Centre
High analytical and strong problem solving skills
Ability to interface with all levels of personnel
Well organized, pro-active and a self-starter, able to perform independently with minimal supervision
Good verbal and written communication
